The Forbidden Fruit Difference
Are you ready for an edible experience that’s unlike any other? Try the newest addition to our edibles menu, Forbidden Fruit!
Forbidden Fruit is America’s first-ever THC-infused natural dried fruit. We only use real, whole fruit that’s dried at peak ripeness to lock in its natural flavor. Then, we infuse each piece with the highest quality cannabis distillate to create an edible experience unlike any other.
The Forbidden Fruit Difference
High in fiber and low in carbohydrates, these are edibles you can feel good about! Enjoy Forbidden Fruit for a non-GMO, gluten-free, fat-free, dairy-free elevation sensation. At approximately 5mg apiece, each piece of Forbidden Fruit is infused individually to ensure accurate potency and quality.
Forbidden Fruit is unlike any other edible because it’s real, whole fruit sourced from its indigenous origin. Infused with only the highest quality cannabis distillate, our special process allows the fruit and distillate to homogenize together completely for accurate dosage. Using whole fruit means that Forbidden Fruit won’t melt, smear, or spread, and there’s no refrigeration required.

Our Flavors
Try them all: Cinnamon Apple Wedges, Mango Slices, and Pineapple Chunks!
Cinnamon Apple Wedges
Our dried Apple Wedges are dehydrated at peak ripeness and coated in cinnamon to create an elevating, flavor-packed edible. Full of antioxidants, apples are known to have anti-inflammatory properties and to help reduce blood sugar levels. Apples are also naturally high in fiber and may help aid digestion.
Mango Slices
Taste the tropics even in New England. Naturally sourced whole mangos dried at peak ripeness will bring your edible experience to a whole new level! Mangos and cannabis contain myrcene, the terpene responsible for the calming effect you feel when you consume cannabis.
You might have heard that eating a mango before smoking or taking an edible will help enhance your high. It’s thought that the myrcene in mangoes helps break the blood to brain barrier that allows the cannabinoids in cannabis to act faster.
Pineapple Chunks
This is one pineapple that might help you enjoy pizza! Forbidden Fruit Pineapple Chunks take fresh pineapple dried at peak ripeness and carefully infuse each piece with 5mg of THC. With the perfect balance of sweet and tart, our Pineapple Chunks are individually infused to ensure accurate dosage.
The Reviews Are In
Hey there! I’m Emma, a cannabis lover and a member of the Northeast Alternatives team. I’m so excited to share my reviews of our products with you! Keep in mind that cannabis affects everyone differently and that these reviews reflect my personal experience.
This week, I tried Forbidden Fruit, America’s first THC-infused dried fruit! As someone who loves dried fruit (and cannabis), I was wicked excited to check out this new product. Initially, I wasn’t sure how the cannabis distillate taste would gel with the natural flavors within the fruit, but let me tell you, these edibles do not disappoint.
I tried 5mg of both the Mango Slices and Cinnamon Apple Wedges. If I had to pick a favorite, I don’t know if I could. Both the Mango and Cinnamon Apple tasted incredible. The best part? There was absolutely no cannabis taste in either of these edibles, just fruity sweetness.
The Mango was sweet but balanced out by a little bit of tartness, while the Cinnamon Apple tasted just like applesauce. Both edibles are what you’d expect dried fruit to feel like, but the consistency was a little softer than dried fruits I’ve had from the grocery store.
I tried each Forbidden Fruit on different days and managed to have pretty similar experiences with each. Both took between 45 minutes to an hour to kick in, which is typical for me when I eat edibles (remember, they can take up to two hours!) After about an hour I felt relaxed and enjoyed a more physical body high with some great cerebral effects.
I love edibles, but I’m never quite sure how they’re going to hit me. Either I’m asleep or I’m very awake and introspective, and there’s hardly an in between. Forbidden Fruit left me on the more alert side of the spectrum, and had me feeling giggly, happy, and relaxed, but also focused enough that I could enjoy some Netflix.
My only complaint about Forbidden Fruit? They’re dangerously tasty and it’s so hard to have just one! However, Forbidden Fruit felt more satisfying to me than some other edibles because they’re a little bigger (around a square inch for the Mango and about the length of your thumb on the Cinnamon Apple) than typical gummies or chocolates.
Overall, these are some of the best edibles I’ve ever had. The flavor alone sets Forbidden Fruit apart. They really are fruit and THC, and you can’t even really taste the cannabis. The balanced effects were uplifting and relaxing, and helped me have a great night’s sleep, too.
If you’ve ever wanted to get high from an edible that makes you feel like you aren’t eating an edible, Forbidden Fruit will be your next favorite product.
